1. Hogwarts Legacy

Harry Potter is easily one of the biggest cultural phenomenons in the world, but despite this, there have been relatively few video games based in its universe. So, with the approaching release of Hogwarts Legacy, there’s understandably been an insane amount of fanfare. Developed by Avalanche Software, it will no doubt sell a ton of copies when it is released onto the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S on 10th February.

The action role-playing game is set in the corridors of the mythical Hogwarts, meaning you’ll be able to pick up a controller, and finally attend lessons in the most famous fictional school of all. With all these lessons available, even if they are in witchcraft and wizardry subjects, maybe it will become one of the top ten video games that can boost your intelligence. You’ll be able to heavily customise your character too, so you can truly import your doppelgänger into this magical world.

2. Company of Heroes 3

The Second World War has been used as the backdrop for many video games down the years from first-person shooters such as 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War, to flight simulators like 2000’s Aces High, and even a number of brilliant online virtual slots, with prominent examples being Pacific Attack, Victory Ridge, and Bombs Away.

All of these virtual slots can be found over at Vegas Slots Online, which has thousands of the greatest and latest online gambling games available. They also have put together a handy guide for how to easily use MasterCard at their carefully selected online casinos, allowing visitors to find out everything needed to safely and securely use this payment device at a wide variety of top online casinos.

Another genre that really shines, being set during that period, is real-time strategy, and one of the true shining lights is the Company of Heroes series which is developed by Relic Entertainment. The latest entry in this highly-rated franchise is due out in February, with Company of Heroes 3 offering players the opportunity to take control of WWII battles that took place in the Italian and North African region. The PC game will also include many new game mechanics, including the ability to take the high-ground, making your virtual theatre of war even more engaging.

3. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Ever wanted to let out your villainous side? Well, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will enable you to do exactly that, when it’s released in May for the PS5, the Xbox Series X/S and on PC. Developed by Rocksteady Studios, the game is the fifth main instalment in the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series. Instead of having you take control of the Dark Knight again though, this title will see you step into the shoes of a selection of his renowned foes.

After the success of the 2021 movie, The Suicide Squad, rocketed this bizarre group of DC Comics anti-heroes into the zeitgeist, gamers have been hoping for a release that focuses on their zany shenanigans. The action-adventure game will be centred around the wacky Harley Quinn, along with Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and King Shark. All five are playable characters, and you will have to use all of their special abilities to take down an alien intruder, the immensely feared Brainiac.
