Our Story
TechMaish was founded in 2008 in Peshawar, Pakistan, as a personal blog about technology and the web. What started as a place to learn and share has grown into a long-running consumer tech publication with hundreds of guides read by millions of visitors over the years. TechMaish is fully independent: it is owned, written and edited by its founder, with no outside investment and no content factory behind it.
Today the site focuses on a clear set of topics: Streaming, Downloads, Games, Social Media, iPhone, Android, Windows, Monitoring and Security.
The Author
Bilal Ahmad
Founder & Editor
Bilal Ahmad is a technology writer from Peshawar, Pakistan, with a background in Computer Science and an MBA. He started TechMaish in 2008 out of a passion for technology and has been covering consumer tech hands-on for more than 18 years.
Over that time he has personally tested hundreds of the apps, tools and services covered on this site, from video downloaders and streaming platforms to Windows utilities, phone monitoring apps and security tools. His combination of technical education and business training shapes how TechMaish reviews products: practically, skeptically, and always from the point of view of a real user.
Editorial Guidelines & Ethics
Every article on TechMaish is researched and written by a human editor, not mass-produced. Tools and methods are tested on real devices where possible. When a service shuts down or a method stops working, the guide is updated or clearly marked, and outdated content is removed rather than left to mislead readers.
TechMaish may earn affiliate commissions from some links, but coverage is never sold: no one outside the site reviews or controls articles before publication, and nothing is recommended in exchange for money or favors. Editorial independence is non-negotiable, and loyalty remains with the readers.
