Mobile internet is a common option among 9 out of 10 Americans. According to the FCC report 82% of Americans have at least three options of mobile internet and 90% of people have broadband connections. Today majority of people choose for smart phones then the simple mobile device which makes America the number 1 country where citizens own smart phones which is 38% of total sale.
Another major reason is the mobile options available in market. The number of wireless devices has risen from 8 to 21 in US market in these four years according to the report from FCC. In 2010 June, about 10 mobile companies have offered 144 smartphones which is nearly triple the number offered a year back. This situation is growing in a very challenging economic condition were every company are trying to get a stronger network condition then their competitor so that they can fascinate the consumers more.
Services to US customers are provided by many national, regional and forte wireless providers. And there are many choices to make from. To add the US consumers can access nearly I million apps from about 26 competing application stores. By these apps the US consumers can access and browse the internet more and extending it for a longer time.
All the competition of US leading companies depends on internet standards and technology. With the government closing the budget gap, generation of public revenues with internet standards will be more. It is actually a winning situation for consumers from both sides and when it is, it sure is going to influence the American consumer.
