Set Video As WallPaper Using VLC Media Player On Desktop

Setting a picture or image as wallpaper on your desktop is easy, but if you want to set a video as your wallpaper then you will have to use VLC Media Player. A very popular media player that is used to play almost all popular videos format. Apart from playing videos, movies and songs you can also get some other entertain able features from VLC. In this post i will show you that how you can set a video as desktop wallpaper using VLC Media Player.

Setting Video Wallpaper of Desktop

1. First Download VLC Media Player and install it in your Computer.

2. Now Open VLC Media Player and Go to “Tools” and then click on “Preference” option. You will see a screen, just tick the option which says “Systry Icon” (See the below screen shot)

4. Now Go to “Video” and select “DirectX Wallpaper” option, the video will be set a wallpaper. You can remove the video from desktop by unchecking the option.

I have VLC 1.1.7 and it will not work on XP?
